Midterm Exams

Midterm exams will take place online via HuskyCT during your scheduled Discussion section time on Wednesdays during weeks 6 and 11.  They are multiple choice. Students with CSD accommodations who wish to use them for exams should email their instructor to arrange accommodations at least 7 business days in advance.

Calculators: The use of calculators is allowed on quizzes and exams, but no other outside resources or collaboration with others is permitted.

Midterm Exam 1

Midterm Exam 1 is week 6. It covers Sections 2.1-2.3, 2.5-2.8, 3.1-3.5. Practice problems will be posted as the exam date approaches. Use these practice problems, in addition to other course materials, as a guide to determine what you need to study. Solutions will be posted on Monday of week 6.

Midterm Exam 2

Midterm Exam 2 is week 11. It covers Sections 3.6, 3.8-3.10, 4.1-4.4, 4.7-4.8. Practice problems will be posted as the exam date approaches. Use these practice problems, in addition to other course materials, as a guide to determine what you need to study. Solutions will be posted on Monday of week 11

Final Exam

Exam Date: All students will take the final exam online via HuskyCT on May 5 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

The final exam is cumulative (it covers sections 2.1-2.3, 2.5-2.8, 3.1-3.6, 3.8-3.10, 4.1-4.4, 4.7-4.9, 5.1-5.5, and 6.1-6.2) and will consist of both multiple choice and free response questions.

Practice problems will be posted as the exam date approaches. Use these practice problems, in addition to other course materials, as a guide to determine what you need to study. Solutions will be posted by Friday, April 30.

In case of a missed exam, please contact your instructor as soon as you know you will miss it, and no later than 24 hours after the exam.

Per University policy, all requests to reschedule or make up the final exam must be submitted to the Dean of Students for approval. Please note that vacations, previously purchased tickets or reservations, social events, misreading the exam schedule and over-sleeping are not viable excuses for missing a final exam.
