Calculators:
Graphing calculators: TI 82, 83, 84, 84 plus, 85 or 86 may be used. Models TI-89 and above (including TI-Nspire) are not permitted on the exams or quizzes. See this link (from the University of Arizona) for more detailed description of what is and is not allowed (including Casio brand calculators).
Exams
There will be two midterm exams and a cumulative final:
- Exam 1:Feb 25, during class time. Worth 20% of your final grade. Covers A.1, A.2, A.6 1.1-1.5, 3.1-3.3.
- Exam 2: April 15, during class time. Worth 20% of your final grade. Covers 4.1-4.5, 3.4 and 5.1-5.6.
- Final Exam: Final Exam Week. Worth 30% of your final grade. Cumulative. Covers all sections covered during the course.
